  1. Baseline Survey for the Project: “Operationalising Green Economy Transition in Africa”: The project received financial support from the Federal Government of Germany (GIZ) with UNEP Taking the lead on the development of the Toolbox and the capacity building component and GIZ taking the lead in support for pilot application and development of a management platform. ICCA has been nominated by the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources as the national technical institution. The Status of Green Economy in Nakuru and Mombasa Counties-Kenya. Report prepared for UNEP/GIZ by ICCA.
  2. Apr 2014 – Mar 2020: co-PI, Groundwater risk management for growth and development (Gro-for-GooD). The project sought to identify and reduce risks to groundwater quality and quantity for drinking water security as well as to improve groundwater governance through balancing growth and development. It also assessed the most significant and uncertain future scenarios affecting sustainable groundwater use for the poor in the context of ensuring water security for all stakeholders in the long-term. Awarding body: UPGro (Unlocking the Potential for Groundwater for the Poor - sub-Saharan Africa), funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID), the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) and the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC).
