The Chairman's office wishes to invite you to this year's first Webinar to be presented by Mr. David Aal, Business Development Associate - Africa for Planet Labs.
Planet Labs is the largest constellation of nanosatellites in the world. Today, more than 200 satellites monitor the earth every day. Our mission is to image the entire Earth every day and make global change visible, accessible, and actionable. Planet imagery is collected and processed in a variety of formats to serve different use cases, be it Mapping, Land Use Land Cover Mapping, Change Detection and Development Control, Infrastructure Monitoring, or Temporal Image Analytics, to create rich information products.
Since 2016, we have been developing a dedicated program for Academia: Planet Science. A vibrant community of more than 100 universities worldwide and more than 10,000 users. More than One Scientific Paper with Planet Data is Published Each Day. Up to date there are more than 3,000 of them in such renowned journals as Science & Nature, among others.
