Speaker: Dr. Joseph Nzau Mutemi
Dr. Joseph Mutemi, one of lead authors of the just-released 2021 IPCC report, is a Scientist at the University of Nairobi, Faculty of Science. His research work involves use of principles of physical science and mathematics with the aid of high-performance computers and data processing science to model and project weather and climate expectations. He supervises many students working on climate-related topics for the benefit of humanity.He was the lead author of the paper titled “Future global climate: scenario-based projections and near-term information,” published in Chapter 4 of the 2021 IPCC Report.
