As the African Research Universities Alliance was launched on the 18th of November 2019, The Director of the Institute Prof Shem Wandiga presented the following paper
Africa and the Fourth Industrial Revolution: Climate Change Challenges Demand Shift in Education Models
The Institute for Climate Change and Adaptation was well presented at the African Research Universities Alliance Second Biennial conference from the 18th to the 20th of November 2019. The well-attended event was held at the University of Nairobi towers with well over 300 participants attending the presentations.
The Director for the Institute for Climate Change and Adaptation attended the Pan-Africa Chemistry Network Congress form the 5th to the 7th of November 2019.
His paper on " Water A Forever Critical Resource for Life" was well received by the participants especially as it addressed the problem of water from the perspective of the changing climate.
