GANDHI SMARAK NINDI FUND SCHOLARSHIP - 2021/2021
Gandi Smarak Nindi Fund Scholarship (GSNF) will offer (3 ) Ph.D. Scholarship to Three FEMALE students tenable at the University of Nairobi during the 2020/2021 acadamic year for programmes in the following Colleges;
1. College of Architecture and Engineering
2. College of Biological and Physical Science
3. College of Health Sciences
The University of Nairobi welcomes all new students joining the university this academic year 2020/2021. The University has traditionally organized Orientation Week to welcome new students, this is being the first time in 50 years that the University will be holding Orientation week online.
The Development Corridors Project (DCP) in which Prof. Dan Olago is a co-Principal Investigator has been carrying out an online training programme (see attached file) and opened it up to a maximum of TEN (10) Ph.D. students.

In April 2020, an International Universities Climate Alliance (‘Climate Alliance’) was established to help communicate research insights on the most effective means to meet the unprecedented global challenge of climate change.
The University of Nairobi Held its 62ndGraduation Ceremony on 20th December 2019 at the Chancellor’s Court situated next to the University sports field.
Professor Bénédicte Faivre-Tavignot, Affiliate Professor in Strategy Executive Director of the S&O Centre, HEC Paris visited the Director Institute for Climate Change and Adaptation on 9th December 2019. The discussion was joined by Ambassador Dennis Awori of Toyota Kenya Ltd, Prof. Cyrus Iraya of the School of Business, University of Nairobi, Dr Rosine Nzietchueng, High Education and Research Cooperation Attache, Embassy of France in Kenya, Prof.
