COMMENCEMENT AND REPORTING DATES

The University of Nairobi wishes to inform the following groups of students

(Module I and Module II) that the commencement and reporting dates for the 2022/2023 Academic Year are as follows:

 COMMENCEMENT DATES

1. MONDAY, 19TH. SEPTEMBER 2022-

FIRST SEMESTER

A. YEAR I UNDERGRADUATES OF THE FOLLOWING FACULTIES:

i) Faculty of Agriculture (FAG);

ii) Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS);

The IHE Delft received a grant to fund the third phase of the Partnership Programme for Water and Development (DUPC3) from the development cooperation agency of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs (DGIS).

The Gandhi Smarak Nidhi fund (GSNF) will offer a limited number of partial scholarships tenable at the University of Nairobi, for Masters Programmes during the 2022/2023 academic year.

The programme will identify academically gifted African scholars from resource-challenged backgrounds to pursue postgraduate study in some of the best universities across the continent.

The Department of Earth and Climate Sciences, Faculty of Science and Technology, University of Nairobi, invites applications from suitable candidates interested in pursuing doctoral studies in Department of Earth Resources Engineering, Kyushu University from September, 2022, for preliminary screening.

PAST AND FUTURE CLIMATE CHANGE IN EAST - AFRICA SYMPOSIUM, 2nd MAY 2022

On 23 March 2022, the Institute for Climate Change and Adaptation (ICCA), the University of Nairobi and the Mawazo Institute co-hosted in-person presentations and a plenary session.

The Department of Earth and Climate Sciences, University of Nairobi expresses its gratitude to Petroleum Experts for generously donating to the School 10 academic licenses of “Move 2020.1” Structural geology software worth £ 1,451,332.23 (one million four hundred and fifty one thousand three hundred and thirty two pounds sterling and twenty three cents) for academic, research and teaching purposes.
