2ND EDITION OF THE AFRICAN SCHOOL ON CLIMATE CHANGE ADAPTATION 30TH JUNE TO 11TH JULY 2025

The Second African School in Climate Change and Its Adaptation – Now Underway

After a successful first edition in 2024 that brought together 28 students from four countries, this year’s school is building on that momentum with **30 students currently participating**, and the ambition to grow to **40 students** from across Africa, Europe, and North America.

2025 Right Here, Right Now Global Climate Summit

Advancing the conversation around climate change and human rights.

Climate change is a human rights crisis.

On 5th June 2025 starting at 8.30am, the University of Nairobi among other world leading universities will be hosting a global summit on climate change and human rights in partnership with UN Human Rights, the Right Here, Right Now Global Climate Alliance, the International Universities Climate Alliance and other co-host universities across the world.

PHD CALL - UoN PHD PROGRAMME IN CLIMATE CHANGE AND ADAPTATION

The Department of Earth and Climate Sciences wishes to put out a PhD Call - UoN PhD Programme in Climate Change and Adaptation funded by Danida ENHANCE.  

The project title "Climate influence on zoonoses at human-livestock-wildlife interfaces in the transboundary region between Kenya and Tanzania (ENHANCE) ".
